ABOUT THE PLAYS This reading features two short plays by Sarah Murphy. Buried A return home unearths more than memories for Mike, as he reconnects with his estranged mother and compulsive hoarder, Alice. Buried asks the question if we can ever really go home again, but more importantly, can we ever really leave? Wretched Woman In 1834, Catherine Mandeville Snow became the last woman executed by hanging in Newfoundland, for the murder of her husband. With a crowd of spectators gathered below, these are her final moments.
