MIEKO OUCHI
Mieko Ouchi works as a freelance playwright, director and dramaturg and is the new TD Associate Artistic Director with the Citadel Theatre. She is also a co-founder and Artistic Associate with Concrete Theatre. Her plays have been produced across Canada, internationally and have been recognized with the Carol Bolt Prize and a Governor General’s Award nomination.
CAROLYN NAKAGAWA
Carolyn Nakagawa is a playwright, poet, and cultural organizer. She has presented work with the Powell Street Festival, Boca del Lupo's 3.7% Initiative, Ruby Slippers Theatre, and Vancouver Asian Canadian Theatre. She is currently developing a historical musical about The New Canadian, a grassroots community newspaper during the Second World War.
