ABOUT THE PLAY

Mask lived underground for about 3000 years and not much happened. Mask was in the Schliemann house for the length of their lifetimes and not much happened. Mask is in a glass box now and still doesn't quite know who they are. Not much happens.

ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT

Sophie Jacome is a young Canadian theatre maker with a particular interest in playwriting and directing. Her work has been produced in Canada and workshopped internationally.

She has an artistic and personal interest in exploring feminist and LGBTQ perspectives in theatre as well as re-contextualizing the Classical world for a modern stage. She completed a degree at Dalhousie University in Classics and Theatre and is currently pursuing her MSc Playwriting at the University of Edinburgh.
